Resound Makes Some Noise at the PRSA NJ Pyramid Awards

This past summer, Resound Marketing made a strong showing at the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) New Jersey chapter’s 30th Annual Pyramid Awards Banquet. The Pyramid Awards recognize New Jersey professionals’ excellence in public relations and communications. We are honored and pleased to announce that Resound took home a total of four awards – tied for the most number won that night!

The winning titles and awards included the following:

In the PR on a Shoestring Budget category, Resound’s Consumer Lifestyle team was awarded a Pyramid Award for “Strategic Shoestring PR Program for a Cold Brew Coffee Brand Brings Hot Results,” highlighting its successful campaign to launch the Java House Cold Brew Coffee brand. The category celebrates those who have done more with less, delivering outstanding results within a limited budget.

Our Toy & Family team won a Pyramid Award for “Resound Takes a Bite Out of the Competition; Builds Buzz for WowWee’s Baby Shark” in the Campaign Media Relations: Consumer category. This campaign focused on Resound’s ability to tap into the wildly popular baby shark trend for an exciting product initiative for one of the industry’s most beloved tech toy brands. This award honors programs that stretch the boundaries of traditional press release campaigns to showcase what media success looks like in our new, ever evolving media landscape, blending traditional PR with influencer and social media activity.

Resound’s Corporate/B2B team won a Pyramid Award in the Single Item Division: Content category, for “Shining a Light on Time Intelligence with Replicon in Fast Company.” This recognizes earned, feature focused content in print or digital media. By securing a profile piece for Replicon in Fast Company, entitled “How to Measure Your ‘Time Intelligence’ (And Why It’s Important),” our B2B team not only achieved their goal of revolutionizing public perception of Time Intelligence, but showcased our client’s value in the field.

Finally, our Social Media team was awarded an Honorable Mention for “Resound & WowWee Create Untamed Buzz with Untamed, Sabretooths & Direwolves” in the Influencer Campaign category. The team was recognized for its successful consumer social campaigns, utilizing both earned and paid social media influencers. Through boy channels, dino channels, adventure channels, and family channels, the team amassed nearly 330,000 views in earned videos and totaled 4.8 million potential impressions!
