Resound Chosen as PR Partner for Propeller

The countdown has finally struck zero – Today is the day Propeller lifts off!

More than 7,000 tickets have been sold, and innovators, makers, entrepreneurs and investors from the northeast are coming together to celebrate the region’s tech and innovation community. New York and New Jersey alone boast over 200 investment funds, at least 15 unicorns and hundreds of startups!

Resound Marketing was brought in as a PR partner to help “make some noise” for Propeller’s first year. Resound created and executed Propeller’s PR strategy in the run up to the event, and manage media activity on-the-day behind the scenes. Media turnout has been excellent, with Inc, Vice, News 12, NJ TV and NJ Biz all in attendance.

Propeller is the brainchild of Aaron Price, founder of the NJ Tech Meetup, and was designed to inspire, educate and celebrate the northeast’s innovation community. The day will consist of keynotes from the northeast’s top influencers including best-selling author Gary Vaynerchuk and City of New York CTO Minerva Tantoco, events such as startup competitions hosted by Techstars and a recruitment bar, live music from The Naked and Famous and Beattie Wolfe, and more than 50 exhibitor booths featuring the latest projects from technology’s brightest minds.
